Abstract:The content of total polysaccharides in Phyllostachys pubescens leaves by phenol- vitriolic colorimetry were studied. Results showed that this method was credible and reproducible and the linear concentration range was within 20~100 μg/mL (R2=0.9993) at the best detection wavelength of 490 nm, recurrence standard deviation was 0.0055 and the rate of recycle was 99.22%.
