Abstract:Crude Averrhoa caramhola L. polysaccharides, obtained by extraction with hot water and precipitation with ethyl alcohol, were purified by gel filtration chromatography after removing the free proteins and then identified by ultraviolet spectrum scanning and IR spectroscope. The results showed that the average molecular weight of the Averrhoa caramhola L. polysaccharides was 4.373×104. And the polysaccharides consisted of β-D-mannose pyranose, α-D-Galactopyranose and α-D-mannose pyranose.
