Abstract:Abstract: Objective: In order to screen suitable preservatives for hanging dried apricot storage and provide theoretical and scientific basis for keeping fresh hanging dried apricot in production, Methods: Fresh hanging dried apricots from 4th Tuan of Xinjiang First Division were used as test material, and ethylene remover and 1-MCP were used to treat the hanging dried apricots before storage. No treatment was used as control (CK), and the apricots were stored at 0 ℃ with humidity of 90%~95%. The physiological indexes of the fruits were measured every 7 days. Results: Compared with CK and other treatments, ethylene removator combined with 1-MCP treatment group inhibited the incidence of cold injury, the production rate of O-2· and the accumulation of intracellular H2O2, and delayed the decline rate of SOD, POD and CAT activities of hanging dried apricot during storage. Conclusion: Ethylene removator combined with 1-MCP treatment can reduce the incidence of cold damage, better prevent excessive oxidative damage, maintain the balance of reactive oxygen species metabolism, and maintain the quality and flavor of hanging dried apricot during storage.
